Hi.. if it is not in use & sealed in the box, the quality should not change in a year time. But if you start using it especially frequently sterilize, after some time it'll get harden gradually. But we suggest you to get it when you need to use it. Jz ensure you get the genuine product from authorized channel :)

We would recommend you to sit upright while using this breastpump, coz this may free your hands from holding it :) If you do need lying down, perhaps first few attempts try to hold it (as worry may not attach firmly while lying down).
