The Mares Abyss 22 is an award winning high performance regulator with a minimalist, lightweight balanced diaphragm first stage and responsive second stage with vortex assist for improved air flow. A wonderful smooth breathe with record performance down to 313m and 101 divers breathing simultaneously through just 1 first stage.

Record Setting Performance

The Abyss 22 is the regulator of choice for many record setting attempts down to 313m delivering a reliable breathe all the way down and back again. The MR22T 1st stage has been used in other record attempts including one to test it's performance by having 101 divers breathing simultaneously off just one 1st stage for 40 minutes.

These impressive records have real world benefits as a regulator that can perform at over 300m will work fine for a 30m dive off the coast and it is very rare that you will need to provide gas to 101 divers but you and a buddy can safely breathe off your single 1st stage with no loss of performance not matter how hard you breathe.

Lighter

The MR22 1st stage has been stripped of all unnecessary metal to significantly reduce the overall weight of the 1st stage without affecting the structural integrity. This reduction in metal actually helps to increase the surface area of the first stage, improving the thermal characteristics of this already highly reliable regulator. The MR22 offers four low pressure and two high pressure ports at fixed angles.

Cold Water

The Abyss 2nd stage uses a full metal body to provide fantastic thermal properties, helping to reduce the risk of ice forming due to extremely low temperatures. A mesh grid incorporated into the front cover lowers the affect that water flow has on the diaphragm, helping to prevent freeflows in strong currents. The Mares Abyss also uses a bypass tube to the mouthpiece that creates a vortex inside the second stage body that draws in the diaphragm during inhalation, providing a lower breathing resistance at all depths.

        You may return your order or items for any of the following reasons:

        1) You received a damaged item from the courier
        2) You have proof of purchase (order number, delivery note, bank statement).
        3) The goods must be in an 'as new' condition and return in the ORIGINAL, undamaged packaging along with the accessories (including manuals, warranty cards, certificate of authenticity) and free gifts received with it.
        4) The product must not have been used or installed or had any data inputted.
        5) All sealed items must not be opened. In case you have opened the seal, please refer for assistance to the relevant service center indicated on the warranty information.

        Please note that for hygienic and logistical reasons, some items are not returnable. If your return meets all the requirements above and you wish to proceed with the return, please include the return slip in the parcel and send the item through Pos Laju (other courier service are also accepted) to:

        Please keep the Tracking Number for the parcel provided by Poslaju (or other courier tracking number) to monitor your shipment to us.

        We will conduct an evaluation within three (3) business days of receiving your returned items, you will receive an sms and email once the returned item is received at the warehouse.

        If your return is valid, we will process your refund or replacement, based on what you have indicated in the return form.

        If your return is not valid, we will notify you and send the item back to you. We will not reimburse your courier charges.

        How to Request for Cancellation/Return/Exchange

        • You can request for cancellation after completing payment and if product has not been dispatched by then, cancellation request is approved and you can receive refund.
          But, in case seller has already dispatched product, cancellation request can be rejected.
        • You can request for return after obtaining product, you should send the product in question to seller.
          After seller checks if returned product is flawed, and approves your request, return is completed and payment is refunded.
        • You can request for exchange if wrong product is shipped, you should send the product in question to seller.
          After seller checks if returned product is flawed, seller approves your request, and re-sends new product.

        Criteria for Return/Exchange

        You can request for return/exchange within 7 calendar days following delivery date. But return/exchange request cannot be made in following cases:

        • When request due to change of mind is made after 7 calendar days following delivery date
        • When product is used, destroyed or damaged
        • When tag attached to product is removed or package of product is opened and product value is damaged
        • When sealed package is opened or packaging materials are lost
        • When too much time has passed and product value has so decreased that its re-sale is not possible
        • When return/exchange request is made for customized product such as hand-made shoes or accessories
        • When components of product (including free gift) have been used or lost
        • When buyer did not follow instructions included in product
